“Educational achievement is one of the best predictors of economic advancement. Multiply that importance several times over for the single parent and equally as important for the children of that single parent.
This is why I support the Scholars Fund for Education.”
— Chuck Gordon, Russellville Community Member

Our MISSION

The Scholars Fund for Education provides financial assistance and personal support to low-income single parents who are currently enrolled in a post-secondary course of study leading to employment with family-supporting wages.

OUR WORK AND IMPACT

Our years of experience in higher education has shown that education is the key to economic empowerment. When individuals have access to education, they gain opportunity, choice, and the power to make informed, healthy decisions for themselves and their families.

HOW WE DO IT

Our programs are delivered locally by dedicated volunteers from Pope and Yell Counties. Their hard work and commitment bring our mission to life, providing the hands-on support that makes a real difference.

OUR LEADERSHIP

We believe that God uses people to open doors and change lives. Our Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Advisory Council serve with wisdom, compassion, and a shared calling to uplift single parents through education. Rooted in Pope and Yell Counties, this team leads with faith, integrity, and a deep commitment to seeing families thrive.
